Carnie Eugene Reynolds, 73, of Vermilion, died Monday, March 13, 2017 after a sudden illness.

He was born March 8, 1944 in Webster Springs, WV, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 52 years moving from West Virginia.

Carnie was self employed as a contractor for Reynolds Building and Contracting. He had also worked at Hull Builders and owned and operated Harbour Net, an internet service provider and computer repair business.

He had been a member of the Lorain County Builders Association; National Builders Association; Vermilion Chamber of Commerce; and the Antique Automobile Club of America. He enjoyed antique cars and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Janet (nee Robison) Reynolds; son, Dennis (Cindy) Reynolds of Huron; daughters, Teresa Cogar of WV, Jennifer (Robert) Lash of Vermilion, and Carrie (Brandon) Kiesgen of Arizona; 5 grandchildren, Jeremy, Ashley, Kyle, Grayson, and Liam; 2 great grandchildren; and his brother, George Reynolds of Orlando, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amond and Maxine (nee Gillespie) Reynolds and his brothers, Jerry Reynolds and Amond Reynolds, Jr.

The family invites family and close friends to Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion on Friday, March17, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of a Celebration Of Life Service at 11:00 am. Rev. David Johnson will officiate.
